Nanjing / FED 2


Second Chinese copy of FED 2 The Nanjing Factory also built a derivative of FED 2 the Zi Jin Chan a reflex version compatible with Zenit lenses and accessories. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mr. Wei Zhou bring us these Chinese copies pictures.

 

Xibei Optical Instrument Factory. It was found in Xi An, Shaan Xi provice, 1957.
Smena's copy Huan Shan and Lubitel's copy Chang Le were designed by this factory in 1958, and were massly producted in 1959 and 1961 respectively.

An atempt of a own Smena Design the rare Xing Guang.

 

 

Xing Guang

Made in 1959 by Beijing Camera Factory, sold in small numbers in Beijing area. "Star Light" is clearly a cheaper Smena-clone, and timewise fits same era as the more smenaish Chinese cameras (HuaShan & ChangJiang) made in co-operation with USSR. Two f-stpos 11 and 16, holes in a swinging disc. Two shutter speeds B and 1/25s. Fixfocus lens, approx focus from 1,7m to inf. No serial number. Original price 49RMB, case missing unfortunately. Back opens with the large disc in rear cover.
