Zorki Sensation Project

This is an unusual project of a rangefinder camera dealiing two films. It dates from the middle of the 70’s. The name of the project "Zorki-Sensation" is given conditionally. The case of the chamber consisted of two parts: a lobby in which there is a shutter, advance mechnics, a rangefinder, and to which changeble objectives of standard M39X1 thread  and - a rotating block holding two films can be mounted:

Revolving film holder block

Each half part of the rear block has its own mechanisms: release, rewind, picture counter for each film and photosensitivity reminder. A variant was offered with a rangefinder in a vertical arrangement. (the horizontal arrangement is technically better because the revolving back strongly interferes  the camera handling, although, the vertical arrangement allowed to reduce dimensions).

Film type :  two: 35-мм, тип 135
Frame format: 24x36 мм
Shutter speeds: 1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/15, 1/30, 1/60, 1/125, 1/250, 1/500 /s &  B (by hand)
Shutter type: no data, but based  on "Зоркий-4" (Zorki-4) – but no revolving dial.
Complete frame opening: no data, but  possibly: 1/30 s

Objective mount: standard: M39x1/28,8

Designer: В.И. Шаблевич
